Wearable haptics: from perception to device development
ABSTRACT
The workshop will present the latest findings on wearable haptics, ranging from neuroscience principles to innovative design of devices. The workshop will focus on fingertip haptics, investigating the encoding of tactile information and the development of devices for multimodal interaction.

ORGANIZER
- Massimiliano Solazzi received the PhD degree in Innovative Technologies from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, in 2010. He is an assistant professor in applied mechanics with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy and he carries out his research at the PERCRO Laboratory, TeCIP Institue. His research interests concerns: the design of robotic interfaces for virtual reality, teleoperation and rehabilitations, the design and control of arm exoskeletons, the development of control systems for manipulators and the psychophysical validation of HMI.
